Doctor Doctor

For the past two days...I spent most of my time in the washroom ...doing the same thing a diarrhea patient does....

End of the day...i think the only way to stop this washroom friendship is to meet the Doctor. I always benchmark my health by the number of visits I have with my Doctor.

Choosing a doctor is always a personal preference in my area.  We have a set of family doctors. There is dr bailur dr yadav and my favourite dr vijaykar.

Dr vijaykar is the grandson of jaykar ..who practiced for almost 50yrs. This clinic remained the same for several years. The darkness and the arch style com pounder room...which was similar to a post office window. This changed ..enter dr vijaykar..prodigal grandson..passionate with an NRI look. The change was so drastic that when i entered the room. I so surprised to see clean and novelty in the room. The way the dealt with patients was something which attracted me and brought me back to him time and again. Although i never visited my Doctor more than 2 times for the past three years. Now that i am on visit no 3 in this year is something to think about.

Doctor do not have rights to advertise themselves . But surely i would wouch for this guy.

Context Vs Content

 "Social media logic says to keep creating interesting and honest content, keep recycling and re sharing links and this will create intersections of value. This brute force approach is too haphazard and works less well daily. We need to understand how social design intersects with businesses needs; where context connects with customers."


These lines made me write this article on content and its context. The generalist view of  social media says that a company (or the outsourced agency) would be generating content which is original and honest to company.

In India , specially it is said that the content generation and curation is outsoucred to agencies, which happens to be a normal set of things for ever national brand available in India. This expand to all sectors from retail to auto, real estate to media. 

I can correct myself of being calling the content as outsourced. I may not be correct using the word outsource the content. This give a basic business oppurtunity for the agencies to understand a brand. This is where the strategy, core communcation helps a lot. 

An ideal agency needs to balance out two most important things 1) context 2) Content for the brand.
